Big Talbot Island State Park
Big Talbot Island State Park is open open from 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days a year. Boat ramp area is open 24 hours a day.
Big Talbot Island State Park has a boat ramp provides access for fishing and navigating the salt marshes. Big Talbot Island offers a diversity of activities including camping, hiking, surfing, swimming, guided horseback rides, canoe rentals, ranger-led programs and bird watching.
- Admission Fee is $1.00 per person to fish or enjoy the park.
- Picnicking Fee is $2.00 per vehicle for the Bluffs picnic area.
- There is a is a $3.00 Boating Fee to launch a boat from the boat ramp.

B.E.A.K.S the Bird Emergency Aid and Kare Sanctuary is located on Big Talbot Island and specializes in caring for Florida's wild birds. Peacocks, pelicans, owls, eagles, ostriches, vultures and emus in various stages of rehab are nursed back to health. The facility is not always open so phone before you go.
